Socks and sex

This was just a usual morning at the office, but it turned the next couple of days of my life into an exciting investigation.

It all started when a colleague of mine found a sock on a chair of the conference room. We all laughed for a while, and by the noon everybody has forgot the amusing accident. Everyone but me. because I kept on thinking about it after the lunch and till the end of the working day, and the next morning�

How could such a thing happen that a person forgets his/her sock at the working place? You need to take the sock off to forget it afterwards. Obviously no one would wear only one sock - usually people wear two. If only the sock-owner was not one-legged. But I rejected this thought at once as taking into consideration that only workers can access our office due to a high level of security and confidentiality, I logically assumed that this could be only an employee of our company, and I do not remember any of them being one-legged. So, it was one of us.

Now, the most probable reason why we found only one sock was that the sock-owner hurried so much that after taking off both sock, he/she then managed to put on only one of them. But why would anyone need to take off the socks in the conference room and then put them on again in a great hurry? The only explanation I could find was � oh my god! - That the person was having sex in the conference room. The fact that the sock definitely has been left late in the evening or by night, as there were no socks in the previous evening when we all were leaving home after the working day was over, only confirmed my suggestion.

So one of my colleagues was having sex in the conference room. But it takes two to have sex. So there should be another involved person.

Then came our usual weekly meeting. We all took our places around the huge table of the conference room. I barely realized what my colleagues were saying, as my mind was busy solving the puzzle. I looked at all of my colleagues trying to group them in couples and imagine them having sex with each other. That surely was an exciting thing to do, but none of the possible couples behaved the way he/she should have behaved having a love affair with the colleague.

I became obsessed with the thing. I even checked the guard�s records of the people coming and leaving to find out who stayed longer that night. But only our dearly beloved chef director was in that night. Hmmm�

I took me another sleepless night to come to a shocking conjecture � my boss is having sex with the guard, a 19-year-old boy!!! My whole world collapsed!..

I became completely insane with the case. Finally I decided to stay at the office longer to see it all with my own eyes. Only after seeing it I will finally be able to sleep at nights.

Everybody left home. One hour has passed, then another one, and another. All my mental tortures have been suddenly put to an end by our office-cleaner � she normally cleans the office after the working day. The Sock Case has been closed once I saw her wiping the dust with an old sock that she has been using as a duster. The elderly lady must have left her duster that night cleaning the conference room. Oh, what a pity. I went home disappointed.

I wonder why they say I am obsessed with sex?
